Hi! My name is John Matlosz and I love to create. I grew up in the electric music scene of Asbury Park, NJ, drumming since the age of 5. As a performer myself, I am passionate about capturing the thrilling moments artists experience on stage. I am a contributing photojournalist for online media publication "Asbury Park Vibes" covering the legendary music scene of Asbury Park, a rock and roll beach city with over 20 different music venues and theaters. When I am not shooting local or national acts, I am studying Music Business at New York University, where I also have access to the thriving music scene in New York. Also, I am a member of the photo archiving committee for New York University's Program Board, a student-run organization dedicated to providing entertainment and special events for the entire NYU community. I have decided to dedicate my life to living, capturing, and photographing the brilliants aspects of all things music.
